Bluebird partners with Autofleet and ABeam to optimize and develop one of the largest taxi fleets in Asia
SINGAPORE–(BUSINESS WIRE) – Bluebird Group (Bluebird), the leading taxi operator in Indonesia, has engaged with Autofleet and ABeam Consulting for a project to support its national fleet of over 23,000 vehicles with the Vehicle-as-a- platform Autofleet service. Bluebird and Autofleet have entered into a commercial agreement which is expected to roll out for vehicles operating in and around Jakarta as of the second quarter of 2021.
By leveraging the Autofleet platform, Bluebird will be able to optimize the placement of vehicles in its fleet, match and predict drivers based on the demand forecast to reduce empty runs, optimize l ‘allocation efficiency, enable greater availability in traditionally underserved areas, reduce customer ETAs, and improve overall customer experience. Autofleet ingests data from requested trips via the operator’s digital application and via traditional street calls. These inputs are combined with real-time traffic data, weather forecasts, local events and other data points for increased accuracy in demand forecasts.
