Garuda Indonesia and Singapore Airlines strengthen trade relationship

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has formed an alliance with Garuda Indonesia to provide an enhanced travel experience for passengers and additional options amid increasing air traffic between countries.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), airlines will cooperate on joint marketing activities and possible alignment of loyalty programs after regulatory approval.
They will also work on actions to support inbound tourism to Indonesia, explore growth opportunities in air cargo, and collaborate on repair, maintenance and overhaul activities.
On October 1, 2021, the duo renewed their air connectivity partnership agreement between Singapore and Bali, Jakarta and Surabaya.
