KATRA, March 27: A one-day conclave on Hospitality and Tourism-2022 and Beyond was organized by the Association of Hotels and Restaurants of North India (HRANI) in association with the Association Hotels and Restaurants, Katra (HRAK) and Federation of Hotels, Restaurants, Industry and Commerce of Jammu Region (FHRICJR).
J&K Industries & Commerce Principal Secretary, Thakur Ranjan Parkash said on the occasion: “We had set a target of 50,000 investments in J&K through 2023-24, but we will achieve this target in 2021-22 itself and it is more than three times higher. the investment that J&K has secured over the past 70 years.

On this occasion, the award ceremony was also held and the Katra Hospitality Manager Award was given to Rakesh Wazir, HRAK/FHRICJR President; The Best Luxury Hotel-Jammu award was given to Radisson Blu while the Best Luxury Hotel-Katra award was given to Welcom Hotel and the Best Leisure Hotel-Katra award was given to The White Hotel.
Besides this Best Business Hotel award, Jammu was awarded to Trans Asia Hotels Pvt. Ltd, Best Chain Hotel-Jammu award was given by Viraj Sarovar Portico while Best Chain Hotel-Katra award was given to Lemon Tree Katra, Best Hotel Mid Scale (Katra) award was given by Hotel Asia Shripati, Katra, Best Boutique Hotel- Katra award was given to Grand Sharan, Best Restaurant-Jammu award was given to Eden-Botanic Kitchen & Bubbly, Best Restaurant-Multi-cuisine award Katra was awarded to Madhuban and the award for Best General Manager went to Kuldeep Sharma of Country Resort, Katra.
Girish Oberoi gave a vote of thanks while the welcome address was delivered by President HRANI, Surinder Kumar Jaiswal and Renu Thapliyal led the program proceedings.
