The Ritz-Carlton Reserve joins Marriott Bonvoy : Business Traveler USA

Members can earn and redeem points at five luxury properties in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Thailand, Japan and Bali
Marriott’s Bonvoy loyalty program now includes the Ritz-Carlton Reserve brand. The move means Marriott Bonvoy members will now be able to earn and redeem at all five Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties around the world.
The properties, which offer an average of 75 residential-style suites and villas, include Zandun in Mexico, Dorado Beach in Puerto Rico, Mandapa in Bali, Higashiyama Niseko Village in Japan and Phulay Bay in Thailand.
Bonvoy members will earn 10 points per dollar spent at properties, plus bonus points based on their elite level status. Members will also earn bonus points if they pay with a Marriott co-branded credit card.
Additionally, for every night spent at a Ritz-Carlton Reserve property, members will receive an Elite night that will count towards their lifetime status.
The Bonvoy program recently moved to dynamic redemption rates with a flexible point redemption structure.
Redeeming stays at Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties will be between 80,000 and 240,000 points per night. Marriott says the rates reflect “the high level of service and unparalleled on-property offerings at Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties worldwide.”
Members will be able to book cash and points rates subject to availability, and will also be able to earn a free night on reward stays of five nights or more. Marriott Bonvoy members will also be able to access select elite benefits at Ritz-Carlton Reserve properties.
