Wyndham aims to woo families with Bali hotel expansion

Wyndham Garden Kuta Beach Bali is expected to complete its major expansion project in the third quarter of this year.

Nearly doubling in size from 155 rooms to 300 rooms, the IDR 143 billion development will see the addition of a new pool bar, gymnasium, additional infinity pool and play area for children.

The redevelopment should make the property more appealing to families and extended stays.

“Wyndham Garden Kuta Beach’s welcoming atmosphere, competitive prices, prime location across from famous Kuta Beach, and soon to be new facilities will make it the perfect base for families to enjoy their stay in Bali,” said Wyndham Garden Kuta Beach Bali. Hotel manager, Bagus Ngura.

“Additional on-site options will provide guests with more variety to enjoy while on vacation. The pool bar will be a perfect spot for any occasion, from a family reunion after a day of exploring to a sunset cocktail. It will offer light meals, snacks, a varied drinks menu, a range of international sports live on TV and a pool deck, which will be used during the day for group yoga sessions.

All rooms in the hotel will be upgraded to provide a more upscale guest experience with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, sofa bed, desk, tea/coffee making facilities, minibar and 50 smart TV. inches capable of streaming or streaming. Premier Deluxe rooms will be approximately 31m², with an additional 6m² of furnished patio or balcony.

The new wing, where the day spa will be relocated, will offer a contemporary take on Balinese design with a soothing color palette, tiled flooring and colorful artwork.

PT Wyndham Hotel Management, which operates the Wyndham Garden Kuta Beach, expects the hotel to reach around 60% occupancy when the new wing opens, provided travel restrictions are eased.

“This ambitious development has been our vision for this property for many years and we are proud to see it take shape,” said Sonny Inayatkhan, Director of PT Global Bali Investama.

“We have chosen to continue the project during the COVID-19 pandemic and, although there have been difficult times, we are on schedule to complete at a time when international travel will resume. Tourism in Bali has suffered a severe decline since 2020, but we believe this island has a strong supply for travelers and will recover quickly once restrictions are finally eased.
